SOURCE OF TRUTH FOR CUSTOMER DATA
STRUGGLING TO SCALE
In 2012, Adobe began evolving from a product-sales model to a cloud-based subscription model. As it reinvented itself, Adobe needed to put in place the business tools that would support agility. As Jay Sasi, AGS Enablement Services at Adobe, explains, “It was a disjointed experience for users because they had to log into a different application to get visibility into projects. We lacked end-to-end visibility into each customer engagement.” With a focus on evolving the way it serves customers and generates revenues, Adobe began looking for a PSA solution that would better suit its agile business model.
A CLOUD-FIRST APPROACH TO PROJECTS
Better revenue management
It’s so easy to generate forecasts with FinancialForce PSA that Adobe’s project managers do so daily. At the same time, the company has gained much-needed clarity around project data in general.
Enabling nimble service delivery
The FinancialForce cloud platform helps Adobe stay nimble so it can evolve and easily tack on new revenue streams, such as for subscription services.
Strengthening its cloud platform approach
FinancialForce integrates seamlessly with the opportunity module in Salesforce, providing Adobe with a single source of truth on each customer.
ACCESSING GLOBAL PROJECT DATA FROM ANYWHERE
With 2,400 users – including internal and external consultants and those in operations – accessing combined information from Salesforce and FinancialForce PSA, Adobe enjoys an essential and full view into all ongoing global projects. “We gained visibility into the business across sales, services delivery, and finance,” explains Sasi. From a finance perspective, the company also benefits from a comprehensive view into project-related financial data, including revenue, bookings, and budget. “We can now automate and streamline processes, from the initial sale through delivery and revenue recognition. Just as important, we get a customer-centric view of our business and are positioned to deliver projects on time and keep our customers happy,” says Sasi.
