Success at Salesforce1 Tour London
I can’t believe it’s been a year since salesforce.com’s big UK event, Salesforce1 Tour London at Excel. This year the event was much bigger and better than before, and with over 11.5k registrations it promised much… but would it deliver..? Well, it certainly did! And here’s how: The day kicked off with us promoting our fabulous contest to win trips to Yorkshire to watch the first two stages of the Tour de France. Accommodation on the route is like hen’s teeth so this is a really great chance to see the Grand Depart first hand. The drawing is taking place this Friday, so there is still time to enter at www.FinancialForce.com/tourdefrance. The expo floor was buzzing by 9am, with all the stands full of Salesforce customers and prospects wanting to find out more about the applications available to extend their investment in CRM. George Hu (salesforce.com’s COO) took to the stage for a captivating keynote, and just before that we were treated to a live performance from Spellbound, the amazing dancers who won Britain’s Got Talent in 2010. The main focus of the keynote was the amazing development that is Salesforce1 – being able to run your business from your mobile with complete visibility across your customers. George introduced spokespeople from a diverse range of companies, all running customer-centric businesses thanks to Salesforce1. In fact, our own CEO Jeremy Roche chatted with George on stage about how FinancialForce.com has incorporated Salesforce1 into our ERP solution to help companies be more customer-centric. For the rest of the day we were absolutely packed at the stand, with hardly time to draw breath. Every member of the company was fully engaged in conversation and we all left elated (although with sore feet) that our ERP solution is primed to help businesses better serve their customers. I think we all slept well that night!
