Living in the cloud without a doubt makes life easier, but new research from analysts Esteban Kolsky of thinkJar and Denis Pombriant of Beagle Research Group shows that we’re still in the early stages of adoption, especially when it comes to strategically implementing solutions on one platform.
In fact, 85 percent of organizations are using two or more separate cloud applications at a time to run their business and research shows that unchecked by IT, many business units buy cloud solutions without much thought to how multiple systems will share data.
