We had a blast at FinancialForce Community Live 2016 London earlier this week. Hosted at The Brewery for the first time, the venue was bursting at the seams as customers gathered to listen to executive keynotes, customer stories, partner presentations and training sessions. The event was held just a week after a sell-out two day US conference in Las Vegas.
Using the theme of Imagine, guests were shown how to imagine further success through listening and learning how our apps can be used to boost business and help companies further centre around the most important party – the customer!
CEO Jeremy Roche opened proceedings and reminded us of the first ever UK community conference which was held around a table at a pub, showing just how far the event has grown with standing room only in the keynote. Imagine that!?
Also taking starring roles on stage were President of WorldWide Field Operations Joe Fuca and newly appointed Chief Customer Officer Adrian Ivanov who discussed our customer-centric approach and the importance of getting to know customers to help them achieve success.
Dr. David Dempsey, SVP Salesforce, joined Jeremy to discuss the importance of customer success and how we work alongside Salesforce to help our customers do just that. Dr. Dempsey also discussed how Salesforce uses FinancialForce PSA how it has given their professional services organization a 360 degree view of the customer after replacing NetSuite OpenAir.
We heard directly from customers in a panel focused on business transformation enabled by FinancialForce apps and the Salesforce Platform.
General Managers of all our products – Financial Management, Professional Services Automation and Human Capital Management educated the audience with overviews, demos and introduced customers to tell their own stories about the benefits they have seen from using each of our apps. We even heard directly from our own SVP of Employee Success to talk about how we ‘drink our own champagne’ through using HCM ourselves.
Some of the best examples were celebrated through, for the first time, handing out awards to international winners of our 360 Customer Excellence Awards. Camfed took home the award for Best Customer Experience for its innovative use of our Financial Management apps to help it serve its network of both donors and recipients – the girls in rural Africa it helps to empower through ensuring they get an education. NewVoiceMedia were presented with two awards. The first, for Financial Management Excellence for its use of our apps to transform its finance department, and the second went to RVP Financial Systems, Justin Wheatley for being a true ‘Community Champion’, engaging directly with our network to help others realise the benefits of the technology.
Once attendees had the chance to break for lunch we had packed out sessions and training covering all of our applications. If you missed a session, look out on Xtra for many of the presentations.
After an exhausting day, guests did not have to move far to celebrate with us and raise a glass at our party in the Smeaton Vaults at The Brewery.
