It certainly was showtime for FinancialForce.com in the UK this week as we held our annual Community Day customer event at the very glamourous BAFTA 195 venue, bang in the centre of London.
With a record number of registrations and attendees, BAFTA was buzzing with FinancialForce.com customers arriving from 8am to network during breakfast. We saw our President and CEO, Jeremy Roche, take to the stage to open the event to a packed auditorium of customers as he talked about the company’s customer-centric approach and achievements to date. Hewlett Packard’s Adam Jones took a starring role in the opening keynote as Jeremy welcomed him to address the audience on HP’s approach to ERP and how their implementation of FinancialForce PSA is helping them achieve a more customer-centric strategy.
Customers were rewarded with a FinancialForce customer award for their involvement in the FinancialForce Community with awards for Best Customer Journey, which was presented to Dialogue Communications, Community Champion was presented to Simon Rogers of Risk Advisory Group and Best Supporting Customer was presented to Sabio.
From presentations to panel discussions to hands-on training or more informal one-on-one discussions, customers enthusiastically participated as they discovered more ways to improve their business. Sessions covered the whole breadth of FinancialForce.com products and new trends, for example the use wearables, and how these can bring further benefits to enterprise.
New product launches stole the show, including the World Premiere of “Action Views,” a reporting engine from the latest release of FinancialForce Accounting, which is working with Excel-type reporting functionality in your accounting system. Customers were able to take part in hands-on training to find out for themselves how easy it is to use this slick new functionality.
Paparazzis captured customers arriving on the red carpet for the evening entertainment, culminating in the ultimate star experience for our guests as they mingled with Marilyn Monroe and Charlie Chaplin and listened to vintage swing from Elle & The Pocket Belles.
Guests gave excellent feedback on all elements of the day and as the sun came down the networking and chatter of the day continued with drinks and canapés. This busy and exciting day was a great success!
Feedback so far:
I always enjoy Financialforce Community Day. You can’t beat seeing and hearing about the product face to face from those who know the product best. This is what I value about Community Day. The opportunity to meet other users and share experiences is also invaluable, and the day acts as an encouragement and prompt to ensure you are getting the most out of all that FinancialForce has to offer.
