We’re still celebrating being ranked as one of the best workplaces in the UK for the fourth year running. The awards for The Great Place to Work’s UK Best Workplaces for 2016 was held last night and our placement is testament to each and every one of our employees who help to keep our culture alive and well at FinancialForce.
The rankings are compiled using the most widely used employee engagement survey in the world, along with a culture audit. Together these measure the employee voice and experience and evaluate the organisation’s culture – the leadership and HR practices that create the employee experience, which is critical for attracting and retaining talent. The world leading methodology makes the awards highly sought after for their credibility and impact on employer branding.
I’m extremely proud that we are listed as number 47 on the Top 50 Businesses list in the UK for Medium-sized businesses. The fact that we have managed to place in the rankings over the last four years show that, despite continuing rapid growth, we are successfully managing to maintain our strong culture, something that has always been a core strategic focus for us since we started out in 2009. Who better to acknowledge this than our employee base?
We focus on providing a positive working environment which is transparent and supportive to our employees. We work hard on our training and development and ensure all staff have a path for career growth. Feedback is actively encouraged and we take it seriously.
It can be tricky to maintain the same culture as we grow. It is the responsibility of the entire company to drive this and why we want to send a heartfelt thanks to each and every member of the team for helping us achieve this award and keeping our company a great place to work.
