Yesterday, FinancialForce revealed its vision for the next generation of service-focused business applications at Community Live in Las Vegas. Built for the new services economy, the strategy is founded on business model agility, time and talent optimization, and predictive insights.
During his keynote, CEO Tod Nielsen declared that software is eating the galaxy. While technology grows at a rapid rate, our challenge is keeping up. “Speed is the new currency in the modern global economy, in which businesses are increasingly retooling to deliver services,” said Tod. “Our flexible and agile ERP solutions accelerate innovation and enable organizations to quickly adapt to trends in the market and emerging business models.”
Key to ERP success is the shift from skepticism to confidence in the cloud. Tod pointed to trust as a key driver of FinancialForce’s success moving forward, saying, “Although trust is the thing that once kept people away from the cloud, it is now the thing that will drive people to the cloud.”
Tod also spoke to the future of the new services economy. Services are no longer an afterthought; their range is as wide as it is diverse. With 70% of CFO’s saying more than half their revenue comes from services, they are impossible to ignore.
Additionally, FinancialForce announced a new strategic HCM partnership with ADP, key product updates to FinancialForce PSA and expanded use of Salesforce Einstein Analytics. The news included:
- FinancialForce Customers Drive the Tools Required to Succeed in the Services Economy with latest PSA Release
- FinancialForce Bets on Predictive Analytics for Next Generation of Insights and Reporting

Customers saw first hand how FinancialForce will empower them to navigate everything from new revenue recognition regulations, HCM and payroll, financial management, billing, to revenue forecasting– all with speed and efficiency.
