Before all eyes focus on Dreamforce next week, we thought it would be the perfect moment to spotlight one of our fastest growing regions – Australia! We officially opened our Australia office in Autumn of 2015 and we haven’t looked back since.
While some businesses will be gathering locally at other conferences in Australia, and we prepare for Dreamforce, we thought instead we’d take a little walk with you down memory lane and revisit some of the inspiring, anti-FrankenCloud customers in Australia who joined the FinancialForce family over the past few years and have committed to transforming their back-office with our applications, on a single platform.
Customers driving the charge in Australia
Most recently we announced today that Computer Systems Australia (CSA), Australia’s leading Integrator of Risk-Tolerant Information Technology, has selected FinancialForce Financial Management and FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) to manage their services and financial systems. CSA will first implement FinancialForce Financial Management along with Salesforce CRM, followed by FinancialForce PSA. CSA selected FinancialForce because it brings their back-office systems onto one platform, is easily customizable and will scale with the business as they grow and evolve in the future. CSA chose the Salesforce Platform and FinancialForce applications with the clear mission to make their customers as successful as possible by transforming their own IT systems.
Pactera, a trusted consulting and technology services partner that delivers world-class business and IT consulting and solutions to a wide range of Fortune 500 clients, switched from NetSuite and successfully implemented FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) for 1,100 users globally. Before selecting FinancialForce PSA, Pactera was using NetSuite OpenAir and found that because their CRM and PSA apps were spread across various platforms, they were often faced with reporting inconsistencies and project accounting and timesheet data issues which forced employees to frequently manually maintain information. As most of our customers know, manual entry equals time and money that could be spent elsewhere!
Following our official Australia office launch in Autumn 2015, we announced that Global Red, a top Australian data-driven lifecycle marketing agency, selected FinancialForce Financial Management (FM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA). Global Red was using many disparate systems and selected FinancialForce after realizing their current ordering and billing processes would not be sustainable in the period to come
Another PSA customer of ours is Snowden Group from Perth – a mining industry consultancy firm that does both professional education and technology, specifically for the mining industry. Before FinancialForce PSA, Snowden Group was using Microsoft Dynamics to manage the services business. Project visibility was poor, capacity planning non-existent, and financial data hard to pull to keep the margins healthy. With FinancialForce the services team works smarter and more profitably. Forecasting is now accurate with scheduled resources entered into a central system.
Earlier this summer, we announced that KinCare, one of Australia’s leading in-home care providers specializing in aging and disability services, selected FinancialForce Financial Management to run their company financials. KinCare, a $100 million company with over 10,000 customers, selected FinancialForce as part of a strategic company decision to move all key business applications onto the Salesforce Platform. In 2017 Australia’s in-home care industry will be affected by the rollout of the new “Customer Directed Care” (CDC) health care model which removes the cap on the number of customers a provider, like KinCare, can serve, resulting in a new highly competitive market for service providers.
