Dreamforce 2014 – Thank You
While giving thanks is usually designated for November, we just cannot wait to thank everyone who made Dreamforce 2014 so special:
Our customers: Thanks to you, Community Day was bigger and better than ever before. Thank you for bringing your energy, questions and ears to all of our breakout sessions. Not to mention, thanks for making the Community Day party at Local Edition a total blast! Whether you’re local or came from afar to hang out with us that day, thank you!
Presenters: Thank you to all our presenters for making our sessions so awesome and impactful! Whether you were at ERPcentral, Moscone, the Hyatt, or the St. Regis Hotel, we appreciate your time and effort you put into speaking for FinancialForce.com at the show.
Robert Herjavec: It’s no wonder that you’re our favorite shark. We’re still talking about your keynote at Community Day! Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to inspire, share entrepreneurial tips and for making us laugh.
Sponsors: Whether it was working your booths during Community Day or partying with us at RUSH, we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you Avalara, CLD Partners, HRMS Solutions, Icon Cloud Consulting and NTT Centerstance for sponsoring Community Day. And if any of you tried the “NewVoiceMedia Nectar” or the “ClickSoftware Sapphire” at RUSH, you probably want to thank these guys too.
Our employees: Where do I start with this one? Whether working the expo booth all day, showing demos, taking meetings, registering guests at ERPcentral or organizing amazing sessions, we really couldn’t have had such an amazing Dreamforce without you. It was truly a team effort and every single FinancialForce.com employee showed up and gave 110%.
Management team: In addition to our hard-working staff, the management team went non-stop during the Dreamforce week as well. Back-to-back sales meetings, press conferences, analyst breakfasts, parties every night and non-stop session moderating would make anyone tired, but you supported us and kept the excitement and energy on High. When’s the last time your CEO deejay’d at a party?
Salesforce: You REALLY know how to throw a party. Who else can host 140,000 people and close down Howard Street all while remaining the most beloved company in our city? You allowed us all to witness your magic and the legends you brought to the stage. Thank you for helping us showcase our mind-blowing ERP!
Keynote ‘legends’: Wow. Thanks Hillary Clinton for teasing us with your “potential candidacy.” Thank you Al Gore for opening our eyes to a changing world. To will.i.am we thank you for your kicka$$ wearable. And to Neil Young thank you for the inspiration to listen to music with our souls again. And to you Marc Benioff thank you for the Waves, the Lightening and so much more…
Salesforce ecosystem: We love our partners and doing business with you guys. We are constantly inspired by the ecosystem and look forward to continuing the innovation together. One of our developers at FinancialForce DevTalks said it best, “The single best thing to happen in my life was the Salesforce ecosystem.” I’m sure many will agree.
SPUR Urban Center: Thank you for sharing your amazing space with us to make ERPcentral a reality. It was the perfect venue for our employees and customers to get together, as well as an awesome stage for our many sessions and presentations.
Press and analysts – Thank you for your time, support, coverage and honest feedback in response to our news last week. From Everyday HCM, to ERP analytics, to wearables, and of course our big-time 2015 plans, thanks for listening and spreading the word.
San Francisco: Your beauty and friendliness needs no explanation. I can’t count how many times I heard people praising your beautiful streets and delicious cuisine. We’re very lucky to be headquartered here and happy that others can come from all over to enjoy this amazing place.
Giants: If you were still in San Francisco on Thursday night than you probably heard the shouts of excitement in the streets…. WE’RE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES! Let’s do this thing.
