Who said December was just for hectic holiday shopping and family gatherings? We have been just as busy sponsoring seven major events across the country!
Salesforce World Tours December 2015
FinancialForce.com ended 2015 with a bang by sponsoring seven Salesforce World Tours, one in November and six in December. Our small but mighty team took the ground running in New York, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Seattle and Dallas.
We kicked off the East Coast World Tours in New York and then in the West Coast we started in the heart of Hollywood with 1,000 attendees coming together to learn more about Salesforce, FinancialForce.com and other industry-leading partners.
With numerous sessions, keynotes and exclusive networking opportunities within the Salesforce community, the buzz you feel when you walk into Salesforce Tour rivals its parent, Dreamforce. At the event we had a chance to hear from Patrick Blair, Executive Vice President of Commercial Sales at Salesforce. In his keynote presentation we learned the power of predictive journeys and how to provide each customer with dynamic, personalized, data-driven interactions each step of the way.
If having six Salesforce World Tours in December wasn’t enough, some of them were on the same day. We had Minneapolis the same day as Los Angeles, which gathered over 1,000 attendees that were eager to learn new and exciting ways they could use Salesforce and other technologies. We were able to hear Andy MacMillan, SVP & GM of Data.com talk about how companies are becoming more innovative with technology and how they are able to connect with customers in different ways, which resonated really well with what we do at FinancialForce.
After Los Angeles we joined 800 attendees in Houston. There we had the opportunity to hear from SalesforceIQ CEO Steve Loughlin on ways to utilize SalesforceIQ to create smarter emails to boost strategy. Houston was very festive with a Christmas SaaSy, holiday photo booth and donations set up for St. Vincent de Paul.
We had one final East Coast World Tour that was in Atlanta on the same day as Houston. This event took a whole new meaning to the phrase “indoor camping.” Salesforce had transformed the Cobb Galleria into a real life campground that combined their interactive gamified learning platform with tents, chairs and even “Cloudy” the goat. It was a great way to get the attendees involved while having them reminisce on favorite childhood memories. FinancialForce had a great presence in Atlanta with a Platinum booth which allowed us to demo our products to the attendees and show the value of combining your back and front office applications.
After Houston and Atlanta, we ended the year in Dallas, Texas with a massive turn out of 1,600 attendees. FinancialForce.com had a large presence in Dallas as one of only two Platinum sponsors. During the event FinancialForce.com held demos at our booth on PSA, SCM, HCM and Financial Management.
Salesforce Chicagoland User Group Holiday Party
Besides sponsoring the Salesforce World Tours, we also had the opportunity to sponsor the Salesforce Chicagoland Holiday Party on December 17th where all the Chicago area user groups met for a pre-holiday celebration that included an ugly sweater contest, Salesforce jeopardy and the chance for each sponsor to talk about their company and products. We loved being a sponsor for this event and thank you to the user group leaders for putting it together!
Events for 2015 may be winding down, but we have exciting things in store for 2016 so stay tuned!
