Cloudforce London a resounding success
We attended Cloudforce London on Thursday, and were blown away by the buzz it generated, drawing an impressive 3,000 or so attendees despite being moved back one day at the last minute due to tube strikes. This was the first major event since Salesforce.com released Chatter and of course it played a central role in CEO Marc Benioff’s keynote, as well as other press and analyst sessions.
FinancialForce.com CEO, Jeremy Roche, was filmed by Peter Coffee in a ‘red carpet’ session talking about his experiences with Chatter. He likened it to seeing the business through the windscreen of a car rather than looking at it through the rear-view mirror. Nice analogy! I have requested a link to the video from Salesforce and will add that as soon as I can.
There were five of us on the FinancialForce.com exhibition stand all day and we were constantly busy with great people and big advocates of improving their visibility across sales ops to finance. We had some interesting and lively discussions with people who understand where FinancialForce.com delivers unrivalled value. A valuable event where user enthusiasm is infectious…
