Companies combine technologies to create end-to-end order management, accounting and e-commerce solution
San Mateo, CA, February 7, 2011: Linvio, Inc. and FinancialForce.com today announced the integration of Linvio’s PaymentConnect ecommerce framework with FinancialForce Accounting on Force.com, the cloud computing platform from salesforce.com. This combined solution creates the only native end-to-end order management, accounting and e-commerce solution for salesforce.com customers.
The FinancialForce application provides Salesforce users with comprehensive accounting functionality, while PaymentConnect adds support for managing e-payments, building payment-based workflow automation, and integrating services provided by PayPal, Google Checkout, Authorize.Net and RBS Worldpay. Combined, these products connect invoicing to online payment and record processed payments against entries in the general ledger. The PaymentConnect framework also includes modules from Linvio and various third-party ISVs that provide out-of-the box support for Force.com-integrated shopping carts, event management, software license management, and non-profit donation management.
“We are already receiving a lot of interest for this combined solution as companies look to add e-commerce functionality to Salesforce CRM and FinancialForce Accounting,” said Ron Wild, president and CTO of Linvio, Inc. “Businesses are looking for ways to run their entire operations in the cloud and we’re delighted to have a solution that makes that possible.”
“PaymentConnect is a very powerful and easy-to-use application that does exactly what it is supposed to do – process and manage payments,” said Dave Venancio, senior manager at Den-Mat Holdings, Inc. “Within hours, PaymentConnect was able to process payments within our native Salesforce applications and soon thereafter within our custom Force.com applications. Using PaymentConnect with FinancialForce Accounting, we can automatically post cash receipts and refunds and now manage our customer service and financials end-to-end on the Force.com platform.”
Business-to-business companies can automate the entire order to payment process, while business-to-consumer companies can publish product catalogues and native Salesforce store fronts or connect existing shopping cart solutions hosted outside the Salesforce environment. Integration with FinancialForce Accounting means that reconciliation of both one-time and recurring payments to the ledger are simplified. Invoices can be paid quickly and efficiently from within the Salesforce CRM application with the appropriate accounting entries automatically generated within FinancialForce Accounting.
“With the combined solution, Linvio and Financialforce.com are delivering value to salesforce.com customers and truly making the accounting process easier and more reliable,” said Debbie Ashton, vice president, product at FinancialForce.com.
FinancialForce Accounting is the only online cloud accounting solution built natively on the Force.com platform from salesforce.com. Based on 30 years of financial application development, it allows finance teams of organizations using Salesforce CRM to truly ‘Speak Salesforce,’ dramatically simplifying processes like invoicing, cash collection and customer service. And FinancialForce Accounting’s real-time, international financials solution fully leverages the native integration with Salesforce CRM, providing up to the minute market knowledge and collaboration at the speed of social networking.
