FinancialForce.com, the leading cloud ERP provider on the Salesforce1 Platform, today announced its participation in the National MS Society’s Bike MS: Waves to Wine Ride, one of many community service and philanthropy initiatives undertaken this year through the employee-powered FinancialForce4Good corporate philanthropy program. FinancialForce4Good embodies the company’s longstanding commitment to making a positive impact on the local communities in which employees live and work, and to helping non-profit organizations meet their operational needs.

In 2014 alone, FinancialForce4Good events have mobilized teams globally to support a variety of initiatives in their own communities:
- Employees in Granada, Spain generously participated in a blood and bone marrow drive and awareness campaign for the José Carreras Leukemia Foundation. The team also reached new heights by donating nearly 100 hours to create new signposts and pathways leading to the highest point in Sierra de Huetor Natural Park, located outside of Granada.
- In the U.K., team members recently came together to help construct raised garden beds for a community allotment made accessible to all needy members of the public. Earlier in the year, the team gave their time and energy to provide much-needed home improvement care to senior citizens supported by Dementia Forward.
- In San Francisco, employees donated their time and energy to help Project Open Hand, a non-profit organization that provides over 2,500 nutritious meals and 200 bags of healthy groceries daily to seniors and the critically ill. The team also spent time restoring gardens and habitats at the Presidio to help beautify the landscape.
On September 20-21, employees will represent FinancialForce.com in the Waves to Wine Ride 2014, which the Northern California Chapter of the National MS Society established to raise money for multiple sclerosis research. FinancialForce.com joins the Salesforce & Friends team to reach the group fundraising goal of over $250,000.
