Business Development Representative (Inside Sales)

In the Business Development Representative (BDR) role you will be responsible for generating new business through focussed and rigorous email prospecting and outbound calling, ultimately creating net-new opportunities and increasing the pipeline of our Account Executives. Key buyers for FinancialForce.com applications include Chief Financial Officers, Controllers, Finance Directors, Line of Business, Leaders, Company Principals, VP's and Directors of Professional Services etc.
Only qualified candidates residing in the San Francisco Bay Area will be considered and job requires working out of San Francisco, CA office.
Responsibilities
- Locate and build out accounts that are in FinancialForce.com’s target market through use of various sources
- Generate new business through prospecting efforts
- Obtain additional prospect company information via websites and other methods
- Keep up to date on FinancialForce’s SaaS offerings
- Entering / maintaining accurate information in Salesforce CRM / Automation
- Locate and build out accounts that are in FinancialForce.com’s target market through use of various sources
Skills / experience
- 2-4 years of inside software sales/telemarketing experience.
- Prior sales prospecting experience (outbound)
- Bachelor’s degree from 4 year university/college
- Experience of working in, or selling to, finance departments and / or knowledge of accounting and business processes is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- High degree of professionalism & motivation
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Salesforce.com, web conferencing etc
